Josh has more than 28 years’ experience in the commercial construction Industry. Josh worked for our sister company, Shiel Sexton, for 12 years before joining Anova in 2013. He was excited for a new set of challenges, and the opportunity did not disappoint. Through his roles at Anova, Josh has had the opportunity to travel internationally to manage Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical projects and programs where he has experienced completely different cultures, languages, units of measurement, and varying levels of initial quality and safety compliance.
As Vice President of Anova, Josh is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company employees and accountability and direction of his project teams, and he has become a proven team leader and program manager for our clients. He and his teams serve as liaison between the client stakeholders, design teams, and contractors directing planning, coordination, and development through execution of project schedules, budgets, and safety and quality programs. He strongly believes in a process-oriented approach that implements corporate policies, user requirements, regulatory requirements, and client procedures.
While Josh enjoys working on complex pharmaceutical facilities, laboratories, and healthcare projects, he gets excited about helping our U.S. clients successfully build facilities in other countries and cultures.
What’s it like to work with Josh? He is big on team building and problem-solving in real time. He is a natural leader at training others “to do what we do.” His motto is “all or none, and it is always ALL.” While Josh has completed small projects that receive little exposure or recognition and larger projects with greater exposure, his approach is always the same.
Outside the office, Josh can be found traveling the world with his family, playing the guitar, or enjoying outdoor sports such as mountain biking, watersports, trout fishing and camping. Finally, he has a pet Yorkshire Terrier named, Kevin, who has become one of several company mascots!
