Project Overview
Anova was the Owner’s Onsite Project Manager for Ventana Medical Systems, a division of Roche Diagnostics, in Tucson, Arizona. The campus management engagement provided the facility with a unified construction program. Our Onsite Program Manager assisted in the development of the campus master plan, developed and maintained the campus construction master schedule, and developed and implemented prequalification, preconstruction and construction guideline manuals complete with templates and examples for other Ventana Project Managers to complete projects following a common guideline. The onsite Project Manager also selected and assisted with implementation of a space/
move management software for Ventana’s personnel. Anova’s Project Manager completed the following projects at the Tucson, Arizona campus.
- Building 1 Renovation – $5 million; 40,000 SF renovation to update and
streamline Ventana’s bio-reagent and instrument manufacturing areas. - Building 2 Renovation – $15 million; 30,000 SF renovation to convert office
space into research and development lab space. - Building 6 Shell TI – Phase 2; $1 million; 3,000 SF tenant improvement to
update the mechanical systems, add one new lab space and office space. - Lot 3EE Parking Lot – $5 million, an 800-space parking lot with covered
parking. - Modular Office – $1 million; 11,000 SF modular office installation.
