Cameron Smith – 15 Years
Congratulations to Cameron Smith for his 15 years of service as a Senior Project Manager with Anova and Shiel Sexton. After spending seven years working for our parent company, Shiel Sexton, Cameron joined Anova in 2012, where he has had the opportunity to work with multiple clients throughout the United States. However, his favorite project was located right here in Indianapolis at the GSA Bean Center Renewable Energy project. This project kickstarted Cameron’s passion for sustainable design and construction. This project was his first time working with renewable energy systems, and he learned a lot about different solar technologies and how they could be implemented successfully in the Midwest.
Cameron is currently working for Corteva Agriscience on multiple projects in Northern California. He is the boots on the ground, ensuring the projects are executed safely within the project’s specification, schedule, and budget.
Rich McGill – 5 Years
Anova is celebrating Rich McGill’s five years of service. Rich joined Anova in 2015 as a Project Executive but has operated in a variety of roles based on our company needs, including supporting our parent company, Shiel Sexton. Some of his key projects include the Salesforce Town Renovation, United Airlines Maintenance Facility, Indianapolis Motor Speedway F-1 Projects, various pharma lab projects for Eli Lilly and Company, Dow AgroSciences Project Build One, and SADARA Chemical Facility (a JV between Dow Chemical and Saudi Aramco in Jubail, Saudi Arabia).
Currently, Rich is working on the Anova project team for the IU Health Regional Academic Health Center. As the Project Executive, Rich is leading the project team facilitation, project planning, design management, pre-construction services, competitive bid estimating, project scheduling, field supervision, quality control, and day-to-day project management.
Lawrence Kong – 5 Years
Celebrating five years with Anova and Shiel Sexton is Lawrence Kong. Lawrence is our commissioning expert responsible for planning, managing, and executing Anova’s Commissioning and Quality Assurance (C2QA) process for our projects. He is also a wiz at developing dashboards and providing data analytics for our clients.
Before moving to Indiana, Lawrence lived in Calgary, a city in the western Canadian province of Alberta, where he worked as a Reliability Engineer in the petrochemical manufacturing industry.
Currently, Lawrence is supporting commissioning efforts for the Indianapolis-Marion County Community Justice Center and Amgen/Langham Logistics’ new APX Warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona.
