Congratulations to Wes Horton for earning the Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST) certification. The Board of Certified Safety Professionals awards the OHST certification to professionals who work to prevent harm in the workplace. These individuals perform occupational hygiene and safety activities on a full-time or part-time basis as part of their job duties. Some examples include making worksite assessments to determine risk, potential hazards and controls, evaluating risks and hazard control measures, investigating incidents, maintaining and evaluating incident and loss records, and preparing emergency response plans.
The certification displays that these technicians have the skills to succeed in their field of work. Congratulations to Wes for achieving the OHST certification.
