When IU Health Bloomington set out to build their new Regional Academic Health Center, they knew they didn’t want it to be “just another hospital”. IU Health wanted to offer something completely new to the area: a brand-new hospital along with a place for academic instruction to teach, learn, practice, and grow. They did just that with their approximately 700,000 square foot Regional Academic Health Center which just opened to the public in December 2021.
Anova acted as IU Health’s Owner’s Technical Representative and collaborated with many Design and Construction firms to deliver a successful project over the length of four years. Our employees worked closely with IU Health giving oversight in Safety, Quality, Project Management and Commissioning while helping to pursue a LEED Silver rating.
We are proud to have been a partner with IU Health in Bloomington and excited to see this project completed and open to the public. We can’t wait to see the positive impact the new hospital will provide the community.
